Scholarships and Grants

IBCS StudentsFinancial Aid is available in three basic categories:

  • Federal Grant
  • Institutional Scholarships
  • Federal Student Loans

Federal Grants and Institutional Scholarships offer aid that generally does not have to be paid back. Exceptions may result if a student revises credit hour enrollment or withdraws from all classes. Federal grants are awarded on the basis of need as verified by the FAFSA and Department of Education guidelines.

Scholarships

All IBCS institutional scholarships are subject to fund availability and to administrative approval. All students interested in institutional financial aid must complete their FAFSA and any required IBCS Scholarship Applications. IBCS scholarship applications should be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by the July 1st deadline date. Generally, students receive the greatest scholarship available to them, and most scholarship awards do not accumulate. For additional details contact the IBCS Financial Aid Office.
