In May 2018, IBCS was approved to participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) by the Arizona SARA Council, which is a member of NC SARA and the state portal entity for Arizona SARA participating institutions (https://azsara.arizona.edu/).

Participation in SARA allows IBCS to teach via distance learning technologies in participating SARA states and US Territories. Please visit the NC SARA site for a current participating list (https://nc-sara.org/directory).

SARA is an agreement among member states, districts, and territories that establishes national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education courses and programs. It is intended to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions based in another state. For more information, please visit http://nc-sara.org/.
