On April 10-12, Dr. Kristopher Endean and Dr. Brittany Moffitt led a group of students, faculty, and friends on the annual hike into the Grand Canyon. Because Bright Angel was closed for renovation, the group went down and up Kaibab Trail, with about half of the group making the big trip all the way down to the river!
The hikers enjoyed guest speaker Dr. Brian Thomas from the Institute of Creation Research as he taught at several stops along the trail. The weather was milder than usual this year, so the camping was more comfortable.
As always, the support crew made sure the hikers were well fed, both before and after the hike.
