Come hear the Chamber Singers' first ever solo concert, featuring tenor Marcellus Martin. The first half of the hour-long concert will present songs about animals "from the earth"—songs from the 1400s to 2022. Though the music is classy, the songs are more fun in nature. The second half of the program will present favorite spirituals: “Deep River,” “Give Me Jesus,” “I Believe This Is Jesus,” and “My God Is a Rock.” Pastor Emmanuel Malone will provide the cultural and spiritual framework for us to appreciate these musical expressions of faith and hope.
