One of the highlights of IBCS's spring semester is the annual Grand Canyon Hike, generally scheduled in mid- to late-April and is led by our Dean of Students, Dr. Kristopher Endean. We depart from the IBCS campus on Wednesday around 10:15 and return by 4:30 p.m. on Friday. April is a good time to hike, since dangers from extreme heat and cold are decreased. We spend the night at Mather Campground on the South Rim before and after the hike to allow for a full day to make the challenging trek. IBCS has sponsored over 30 trips to the Canyon.
