In August of 2019, Pastor Nathan Mestler became the fifth president of International Baptist College and Seminary (IBCS).  He is an excellent Bible scholar, demonstrates a heart for missions, and has a deep connection with college students, desiring to see them change and grow to be like Christ.  He has consistently demonstrated his heart for our college students. Pastor Nathan is a sought-after speaker at Christian camps and has a good rapport with pastors and young people across the West.

Pastor Nathan spent much of his childhood in Kenya as his family served there as missionaries under International Baptist Missions.  He came to International Baptist College and Seminary for his undergraduate degree and graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Bible and Christian Service.  He then earned an M.Div. from Calvary Baptist Seminary and is currently working on his D.Min.

Pastor Nathan has served in the college as a professor, the Dean of Students, and in 2016 became the College Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church.  He is also an Air National Guard Chaplain in the 162nd Wing in Tucson, Arizona.  He and his wife Bethany have four children: Macy, Levi, Grant, and Brynn.

The IBCS family is excited to see God’s working in our midst, and we anticipate wonderful days ahead as we continue to mentor God-fearing leaders into the ministry.
